    Budding artists, come work on your skills while experiencing the parks of Downers Grove. The classes will work on drawing techniques and will create art inspired by the surroundings. You will be working with a variety of art supplies including pastels, charcoal, and chalk. Each class takes place a different location, and class should meet up in the park pavilion.     State-certified volunteer educators teach the basics of safe hunting, including hunter responsibility, wildlife management, firearm, ammunition and archery safety, first aid and survival techniques. Passing a Hunter Safety class is required for anyone born on or after January 1, 1980 who wants an Illinois hunting license. This course also meets the requirements for adult hunters in many other states. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 16. Participants must attend all classroom sessions and pass a written exam to receive a certificate. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their children.
